The Records consist of legal papers, minutes, circular letters, financial papers, correspondence, and miscellaneous items. The records pertain to various committees of the New York City local of the Social Democratic Party. Of special interest are the minutes of the New York City Executive Committee, Grievance Committee, and the General Committee; reports of electoral activities; a membership roll book for 1904; and the constitution of the Social Democratic Party of New York State. The collection also contains a municipal platform from the Social Democratic Party of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
